The Dealer's Notice — UK Hallmarking

Every Isla Bella ring is hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office. Under the Hallmarking Act 1973, UK dealers in precious metals are required to display the British Hallmarking Council's Dealer's Notice. The notice below is the official online version, reproduced in full.

British Hallmarking Council Dealers' Notice (online version): Look for the Hallmark, It's Your Guarantee. Explains the sponsor's mark, fineness marks for silver 925, palladium 950, gold 750 and platinum 950, the marks of the four UK assay offices (London, Birmingham, Sheffield, Edinburgh), and the international Common Control Mark.
